Description:
April 24, 2012
One of the most familiar birds in North American, the arrival of American Robins (Turdus migratorius) in many places is a sign that spring is around the corner. Occasionally birds like this male robin lack pigments in all or part of their plumage, probably due to a genetic mutation. This condition is often referred to as leucism.
