Description:
March 6, 2012
It's been a strange warm winter in Chicago. On December 9, in the Soldier Field Parking Garage, John Bates found this bird gleaning insects and spiders along the wall deep inside the garage. This time of year most ovenbirds (Seiurus aurocappilus) would be down in Central America and the West Indies, but this bird clearly had other ideas.
